| The charming "Ellis House" is located in the famous village of Tsagarada, on the eastern side of the Pelion peninsula. It is a building that has great historical importance, and offers visitors to Pelion the chance to experience an authentic and unique stay whilst on holiday. | |

The building dates from 1917, and during the past
few years, the entire building was completely renovated and redecorated.
Three years were needed in total to complete the renovation works.
During the renovation procedure, great attention was paid to both
the environment and the traditional Pelion architecture. From the moment you arrive at "Ellis House" and reach the stunning and colourful garden, you will immediately feel the charm and magic. Inside the garden are a beautiful selection of flowers such as Ortansies, Daisies ( Margerites ) and Roses - these are also the names of 2 of the suites that you will find at "Ellis House". The owner of "Ellis House" is Tonia Athanasopoulou, whose grandparents originally built the house. Inside, you can see elements of her grandparents influence, and also several unique items that are now on display. The embroidered slippers and the hat that her grandfather wore on his wedding day have been carefully framed and are on display in a corner of the beautiful living room area. You will also see some lovely hand made carpets that Tonia's grandmother brought from Egypt in 1930. During the renovation of "Ellis House", all of the materials that were used were ones that respected the environment, and kept with the traditions of Pelion architecture and construction. |
| Though traditional in appearance and style, "Ellis
House" also has the latest technology and facilities inside.
Inside the rooms, you will find a plasma TV above the old wooden
radio. Next to the authentic iron bed, you will find the cordless
telephone. All of the bathrooms have hydro massage and other facilities
that you would expect to find in 5 Star hotels. As beautiful as the interior of Ellis house, the same beauty can be found in the exterior area, with the magnificent garden stretching to different levels, with plenty of colourful flowers and fruit trees, and a view that stretches from the green mountain to the blue of Pagasitic gulf. "Ellis House" is a large facility with a variety of beautifully decorated and comfortable bedrooms, each of which are unique in style and appearance. The house offers luxury accommodation within it's 250 sq.meters sized estate. With strong emphasis on nature and the traditions of Pelion, it offers a unique choice for those who wish to experience Pelion at its fullest. In every space of the house, luxury and comfort dominates the place with soft and lush materials offering warmth and a treat for all of the senses. Every room and suite at Ellis House has been decorated with exceptional taste, combining the old with the modern in way that both attracts and surprises. |

| The kitchen area of "Ellis House" is dominated by the
white marble working boards, and the copper pots and pans. The kitchen
offers plenty of space, and is fully equipped with fridge freezer,
cooker and all other modern day appliances. As well as the spacious sitting room area, you will also find the library, offering a great selection of books which guests are more than welcome to use during their stay here. With the peace and tranquility surrounding "Ellis House", it is not hard to simply take a seat on the sofa or the chez lounge in the garden, and indulge in a book. Holidays mean relaxing and there is nothing more relaxing for someone than to be lost in the pages of a book. Sitting comfortably and resting ones eyes on the beautiful surrounding nature. |
